For those who may remember, my sister, Linda, was the 1961 Girl’s Club Girl of the Year.She married to her long term sweetheart, David Deardorff, in 1963. She loved singing, acting in community theater and her friends. Linda died of Hodgkin’s disease in 1969.She was funny, personable and my hero.I miss her every day.
Yes, Linda was outgoing which I admired very much, plus she was always laughing and full of fun. It seemed like she was friends with everyone. I can still see her scurrying around the halls "taking care of business"! Seems like she was always involved in some kind of project or event. I was saddened to hear that she passed away at such a young age.
