Jeff was a close friend of mine. He was a very good student who didn't have to work hard to achieve his grades, both in high school and later at the UW.
We ended up in the same frat house at the UW along with Larry Dillon and several other Wenatchee friends. Jeff spent more time partying than studying, but made his grades anyway!
Jeff was a good athlete. He played golf on the Wenatchee High golf team and the UW golf team. I played golf many times with him and he was so good he possibly could have been a professional, IF he would have had the discipline to work hard at it. But playing around was too much fun.
Jeff never married, i think that would have cramped his busy social life! He had a successful commercial real estate business until things soured for him financially and led to his passing.
I will never forget his beaming face and pleasant manner, and some of the crazy things he did when partying!
Jeff was a talented guy and a loyal friend. Never a dull moment when he was around.
Used to go to Dusty's after the games etc. on Friday and Saturday nights...We always got free burgers and shakes because Jeff's family owned Dusty's. By the way, it's still there and the burgers are as good as ever.. Gary Sirmon
